Malcolm Venville is both a photographer and director. After graduating from the polytechnic of Central London, he worked as a photographer’s assistant until embarking on a freelance career in 1990. Awards at the Association of Photogrphers annual award ceremony established Venviller as an advertising photographer.
In 1997 he directed a short film entitaled ‘Slient Film’ (For Channel 4 and BBC Films. Since then he has directed several films, including ‘Remembering Sister Ruth’ and ‘Remembering Miss Torso.’ Venville is currently developing a feature film.
Venville has gained recongnition for both his works as a photographer and as a director of commericals at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, the Eurobest Advertising Award, The One Show, The Clio Awards, the Association of Independent.
